This site has a huge database of RPG characters, map tiles, monster tiles, item, weapons, etc. It also has a huge community and a character generator that creates the walk cycle and allows you to import images to customize your character even more.

This site is a MMORPG done completely in Flash, most likely using the Flash Media Server 2 or something similar. Good resource material as far as what can be done in Flash.
